Daily 5/CAFE

There were three great book studies going on this summer over The Daily 5 and CAFE.  It didn't matter what grade you are teaching; there was something for everyone.  I needed a place to go where all the information was in one place as I needed it throughout the upcoming school year.

**This is a page in progress.  As the blog posts are published, I will update this page with the links.

KINDERGARTEN

This Daily 5 book study had two posts per chapter.  The first post introduced the hostess's thoughts on the chapter and provided guiding questions.  The second post (a few days later) was a linky party where other teachers shared their thoughts on the chapter.

  1. Thank you SO much for placing all these items in one place. I implemented D5 in my class last year and it was a total lifesaver. I could not do my literacy block any other way. I'm starting CAFE this year, and have heard such wonderful things about the progress the kids make once the strategies are explicitly taught to them! I especially LOVE the strategy groups. We'll see how it goes! I know I'll blog about it quite often so you'll have to keep up with that as well :)
