Common Core Resources

I have lots and lots going on this summer.  How about you?  I hope you are taking some much deserved vacation time.

Common Core Resources
I am part of two new collaborative blogs:  Common Core Kids and Common Core Classrooms.  Common Core Kids is a place for parents to find ideas on how to help their children with the new rigorous CCSS and a place for teachers to find activities and ideas to share with parents.  Common Core Classrooms is for teachers to find ideas, lessons, activities on how to implement the CCSS effectively.  I just wrote my first post for Common Core Kids.

I just wrote my first post for Common Core Kids and would love for you to check it out:  Math Puzzle.  In honor of that post, I am sharing a blank copy of the "I Have, Who Has" game, so you can customize it to fit your needs.

Honored to be...
A guest blogger at PreK and K Sharing!!  Guest blogging is a huge honor but also a little nerve wracking.  You want your host blog to be happy with your post, so it puts the pressure on.  Want to learn how our preschool teachers helped set the stage for the elementary teachers in writing?  Check out my post:  Better Sentences from Preschoolers!

  1. I wish Texas participated in the whole Common Core thing. I always feel left out of the party. :)
