My School in 10 Images

  1. Was guilty of looking and then moving on but I played your Voki. How could I leave then! I haven't been here before. Photos give some idea of your class. Would you tell me a little more about "You've got the right stuff." I clicked on it and did make it bigger, but would love to know a little more about it.

  2. Kathryn - Thanks for stopping by. "You've got the right stuff" has all the students' names who were advanced, proficient, or showed growth on our state-mandated literacy exam (the ACTAAP, better known as "the Benchmark"). The reading teacher I coach created the board. I loved it because of how colorful it was and that it also showcased students who were not proficient but who were improving by showing growth.

  4. Hi Jana, love your class in 10 images. Images say so much more than text does. It is great to showcase both what you do in class and the actual student work. (I really liked the frog.)Who are the red devils? Sorry, this is an ignorant Aussie here!
Also can you check one of your images does not load for me. The one below "You've Got the Right Stuff" Are you able to check that it was not a bmp image as it needs to be jpg or png or maybe it is too big a size.

  6. Murcha - The Red Devil is our school mascot. The photo is at the 6th and 7th grade end of the hallway of my elementary school. Checked the image and it's a jpg. Will try to resize it and put it back in.

Jee Young - Thanks for the comments! I can't wait to see what you decide to post for this challenge.
