Today I am stuck. I don't know what to write about. I have learned a lot at the conference but I am still processing the information. I want to be able to write about in a coherent way. Right now the thoughts are still swirling around my head. I am excited about what I have learned and I will be sharing with everyone on my blog in future posts. What do you do when you can't get the words in your head on paper?
I take a shower and somehow while I'm rubbing shampoo into my hair, the words start forming in my head. Almost blogged about it once.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I phone a friend and try to talk about it. That usually gets me started...

I go through this a lot... either I feel like I have no ideas or I have too many and don't know how to put them together. I always start with a good old-fashioned bubble map. Just like we do with our students, I put down all my ideas in point form and usually in a bubble map (concept map) just because that makes sense to me since I am a visual person.

I know what you mean about not knowing what to write about. Staring at the screen doesn't help much either. I jot down random thoughts during the day. Putting them down on paper is a struggle for me sometimes. However, I have enjoying slicing so much!!! I'm so glad I decided to step out of my comfort zone and write. The words will come. :-)
